About the series
Join the Transcendental Meditation community for a monthly virtual retreat starting in August 2021. These virtual retreat weekends give you the chance to have deep rest and rejuvenate, and to connect regularly with many people of different backgrounds within the TM community from the comfort of your home.
TM Meditators, Sidhas, and TM Teachers will enjoy group meditations, meet with guest speakers and performers, discuss how TM affects them in their daily lives, and gain knowledge from specially selected Maharishi tapes. To ensure the virtual retreats are suitable for your TM status and language group, we are using breakout rooms within the Zoom platform so that there are opportunities for discussion, closer connections, and topics relevant to you.
You’ll also have dedicated time for your TM programme, to tend to your self-care and well-being. No matter where you’re from or your TM status, this virtual retreat series will offer something special each weekend.
First Weekend • 20 – 22 August 2021
Second Weekend • 24 – 26 September 2021
Third Weekend • 22 – 24 October 2021
Fourth Weekend • 26 – 28 November 2021
Virtual Winter Retreat • 29 December – 2 January
Participants will enjoy a structured programme of enjoyable meditation in the comfort of their home, as well as refreshers on Maharishi Yoga Asanas to deepen their experiences during TM practice.
Share and hear from other participants about how they utilise and integrate Maharishi’s knowledge in engaging activities such as meaningful discussions in smaller groups (in breakout rooms on Zoom) and then presenting those main points to the wider group.
A key aspect of the virtual retreat series is beautiful knowledge in the form of recorded lectures from Maharishi, played over Zoom. Participants will be treated to beautiful lectures on different themes — all carefully selected by MERU faculty to structure the deep experiences enjoyed during your meditation.
The series connects you with the wider TM community monthly. And just as you are regular with your TM practice, you have a monthly opportunity to take a deep dive into your TM practice as well as Maharishi’s knowledge.
Knowledge tailored to you
We heard your requests and now offer at least one separate knowledge meeting on each weekend for Meditators, Sidhas, and TM Teachers, so the knowledge remains relevant and understood by you.
Special guests and entertainment
Enjoy stories from special guests as well as concerts from performers.

Get updates on the latest TM from around the world, including opportunities, events or courses which are of interest to you.
